Joomla!Day returns to the SF Bay Area

Joomla Day USA San Francisco Bay Area 2008 I can’t believe how quickly time passes, but it was more than a year ago that we PICnetters helped put on the Joomla!Day USA West. Now, with new leaders born from last year’s event (cheers to the Bay Area Joomla User’s Group), Joomla!Day USA SF Bay Area is coming Saturday, September 20th. If you’re in California and work with Joomla, I wouldn’t miss it.

There aren’t many opportunities to see development leaders from the Joomla community in the flesh, and this event won’t disappoint. Three Joomla rockstars will be in attendance, including Louis Landry, Wilco Jansen, and Anthony Ferrara. Their insight, as well as that from many others in the local community, will provide a terrific opportunity to sharpen your Joomla skills.

To top all this off, it will be held at Google in Mountain View, and registration is only a small recommended donation. Much like last year’s event, expect this year’s to be in the same un-conference format made ever more famous by Allen Gunn of Aspiration Tech. It’s going to be a ton of information, so bring your laptops, and get ready for some Joomla fun.

Register for the event soon, and see you at Joomla!Day on September 20th!
