D.C. nonprofits: Compete to win $7,500 through 501cTECH’s 2014 Technology Innovation Awards

Hey D.C. nonprofits! 501cTECH wants to hear your idea for an innovative new technology project, and they are giving $7,500 to the three ideas which dazzle them the most.

The 2014 Technology Innovation Awards this year will recognize one DC-area nonprofit from each the following three cause categories:

  • PreK-12 and STEM Education
  • Skills to Succeed and Workforce Development
  • Veterans and Military Families

Fill out this simple application before June 30th, and a panel of judges will decide whether or not your idea should win $7,500 and a free 501cTECH consultation.

Ozimek named Salesforce MVP for second straight year

Spring is here. The flowers are in bloom. And the annual Salesforce MVP class is announced.

A hearty huzzah and congrats to our very own CEO and Co-founder, Ryan Ozimek, for being named a Salesforce MVP two years running.

DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards: What are you going to submit?

A couple days ago, You Tube and See3 Communications launched the 4th annual DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards. One winner will be selected in each of following categories: Best Small Organization Video, Best Medium Organization Video, Best Large Organization Video and Best Innovation in Video.

Winners will be recognized at the Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC 2011) in Atlanta in April, and on YouTube, and each winning organization will receive a $2,500 grant from the Case Foundation and a custom Flip camera. To enter, organizations must be a member of YouTube Nonprofit Program.

The deadline is March 19. We know some of you out there have a video that should be submitted. Apply today!
